The material used in FKM O-ring is highly resistnat to heat, chemical, grease  and also anti-soluble. It can maintain at least 1/2 of the original functions even after 16 hours of exposure under high temperature of 220°C or extreme cold down to - 40°C. With addition of extra chemical, its  functionalities can be greatly enhanced and increased which compares very favorably with other kind of traditional products with Shore Durometer Hardness A  between 65-95.

 

Easily susceptible to ketones, hydrazines, anhydrous Ammonia and skydrol (phosphate) and other fluid erosion, it has to be processed to get better quality. The product is mainly used in sealing, gaskets, membrane, pump blades, wiring and highly vacuum and radioactive environments.
