The coated O-Ring combines the elasticity and sealing properties of the rubber with Teflon's chemical resistance by a SILICONE rubber or FKM rubber placed internally and relatively thin Teflon FEP or Teflon PFA , This rubber plus Teflon O-RING has excellent sealing performance. General rubber O-RING easier to wear, chemical resistance and resistance to gas permeability difference (except FFKM), pure Teflon O-RING higher hardness can be compressed but poor flexibility. Teflon FEP / Teflon PFA ORING has good resistance to dissolution and chemical stability (unless exposed to metals, fluorides and some halides at high temperatures) have good elasticity near the rubber part O-RING, Teflon FEP / Teflon PFA has a very small coefficient of friction (only 0.1 to 0.2), and has excellent resistance to gas permeability, these properties make the coated O-Ring can be truly applied to harsh environments.
