A standard high speed steel material, it is commonly used in the operating

condition that demand high toughness, in addition, it also has the characteristics

of good wear resistance and red hardness. Therefore, it is the best material to produce

wood drills, but the heat treatments including the process of high temperature quench

and temper are strictly required to ensure various kinds of elements such as Mo,

W, Co, V and others are contained in the high speed steel to show the features of best

strength, toughness and wear resistance.
